We spent the day all about Daddy! I couldn't ask for a better Daddy for the two boys. He's fun, loving, patient (at times!) and would do anything for these boys. Brayden loves when Daddy comes home from work and is quick to run out and greet him outside and Bransen's face lights ip as soon as he sees Daddy too! Somedays Daddy is even chosen over Mommy to read books or give baths. We started the day off with giving Daddy our homemade card and spent the rest of the day at Daytona Lagoon followed by a family dinner with friends!

His love of planes
When we went to Disney, Brayden played in the arcade at the Contemporary Resort and with his tickets he won, he was able to get a plane. Well since then his love for trains has expanded! and of course the one he got at the arcade wasn't the best and broke shortly after a few flights. To his surprise my parents got him a huge plane! He was in heaven! This one made it a few more flights longer than the original one but also quickly broke. He may try to fly them just a little rough!
Here's a picture of him with his big plane and Papa putting it together. And no they did not fly the plane inside!

Birthday Celebration at CTK
The last part of Brayden's birthday celebration was cupcake cones for school! I baked cake and put them into ice cream cones and frosted them and added some sprinkles. Brayden and his classmates enjoyed the special treat!

Pirate Brayden Turns Three!
Ahoy Matey's!
A birthday party that took weeks to plan was a complete success! The theme was all about pirates and I think the birthday boy was quite impressed with his Mommas work! This is the first birthday he actually knew what was going on and was super excited about. My mom took him the night before and brought him home when his party was about to begin. To his surpirse when he got home he was going to be surprised with a party with all of his friends!!
Lots of pirate food was eaten up too! We had sea water, shark punch, pirate booty, cannon balls (grapes), plans (celery with peanut butter), fish bait (fish gummies), shark bait (watermelon), gold nuggets (cheese), pirate ships (jello with an orange), pirate loot (rolos) and skull bones (pretzels and marsh mellows dipped in white chocolate). Then of course there was the cake, a pirate ship of course!
The kids had a blast. I planned a Treasure Hunt. In the beginning each kid was handed a clue and at each stop they were able to pick up an item that included, a pirate vest, eye patch and mask, a sword and then the very end was the treasure filled with all the goodies! At the end of the pirate we had a bunch of pirate running around.
I'm pretty sure all the kids had a blast and that was what I was going for and I know Brayden had a blast at his third birthday party! I can't believe my baby is three! He is growing into such a little young man. Looking forward to what this year brings us while moving into the fours.

Fort Wilderness
We started Brayden's birthday week out camping at Disney's Fort Wilderness resort. The whole trip in one word was AMAZING. We had such a great time spending four days there. With all the activities and entertainment Disney has to offer how could we not!
We picked up our golf cart Friday morning (the campground is was to big to walk) and headed out to site see. Of course it had to rain that day too but we weren't going to let it put a damper on our mini vacation. We had also planned this day to do some indoor activities so it almost worked out perfectly. We got onto the ferry Friday morning and made our way over the the Magic Kingdom. As soon as Brayden saw the castle he automatically thought we were going to see Mickey's house and was saddened when that never happened. We then jumped on the monorail and made our way around to all the hotels. Our first stop was the Contemporary. We stopped in, walked around the stores, Brayden played a few games in the arcade and then made our way to the Polynesian. Now every stop was mostly the same. Checked out the stores and the hotels and then hopped on the monorail again to our next and final hotel which was the Grand Floridian. Still raining out we jumped on the ferry back to the campground. For the most part of the day we did stay dry!
The rain finally made its way away from us and we got to make our first trip to the pool! The water was so warm and it made the air outside feel so chilly. Brayden quickly got used to the kiddie slide and pool and was quite content in there for the entire time. Although he was not a fan of the water that was turned on to go over your head as you walked up the steps to slide, he always wanted one of us to turn it off for him! silly boy!
During the night time we made our way each night over to the campfire where we got to hang out with Chip n' Dale, listen to some music, and make smores! Brayden loved Chip n' Dale! He danced with them and even got up in front of everyone when they asked who was at Fort Wildnerness celebrating their birthdays! Not to mention the not so shy little boy did the Hokie Pokie with Papa and I too! Afterwards we made our way over to the water to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks and light parade. After such a long day Brayden was fast asleep once we arrived and couldn't wait up to see them but we were able to wake him up right before they started so he could see the action!
Saturday morning we took a bus ride (Brayden loved the bus) over to Downtown Disney to do some shopping and site seeing but we all were eager to get back to the campground to spend a nice relaxing day at the pool!
And to note: Bransen was with us! Although there's not much to report on him! He had a great time on our adventures and took in all the sites! He's such an easy going baby he made it super easy with him! He even enjoyed some pool time in his float and the fire works at the end. I think he'll really enjoy the trip when we go back next time when he's a little older.
The whole trip was amazing. We made so many memories and we all had such a great time watching the joy through Brayden's eyes!
And on a somber note. My parents dog Timber passed away a few weeks ago and oddly (I think in his remembrance) our campsite was located on Timber Trail. We missed you Timber but you were with us in spirit!

CTK Class Pictures
As Brayden's last day of school approached (gosh the year went by fast!) his teacher emailed me some pictures of him in the classroom during the year.
School has done great for him. He loves going on his days and has learned so much. He counts to sixteen (although not always in the correct order). he's learned to say his ABC's, he's learned songs to sing and much more. I have even noticed more how much he plays and interacts with other kids, or should I say his friends. At the beginning of the year when I would pick him up and he's be on the playground he was usually always riding a bike by himself and towards the end of the year he was always out on the playground playing with friends. His teacher says she can tell how much more confident he was become.
He's already looking forward to next year but we are excited for lots of fun over the summer!

Horsey Neighbors
Our neighbors have a few horses and Brayden loves going over there to see them. They acutally walk right up to the fence and let Brayden pet them and feed them. There such sweet beautiful animals.
