Lights, Sirens, Action

Today we visited our local fire station in Palm Coast, number 25! The fireman gave us a tour of the inside of the fire station to show us where they slept, worked out, the kitchen and spent some leisure time. Since there shifts are twenty four hours all of this is needed! The next visit was to the all the fire trucks. This was the kids favorite. They showed us all the equipment on the trucks and then let the kids take a walk through the fire trucks. Brayden was a little overwhelmed by these big trucks so he didn't spend much time inside them! I think I was able to snap one quick picture. The fireman handed out stickers and hats to all the kids. Brayden drew a picture for the fireman earlier in the day and gave it to one of them at the end thanking them for all there hard work and bravery in our community!
