We took our first family of four road trip to visit my cousins who live in Alabama and Georgia. It was actually perfect timing because they just received orders to move back to Fort. Lewis, Washington and it will most likely be another five years or so before we get to visit with them again.
I was so worried about how the boys would do making the seven hour car ride. Well I am so happy to say they did awesome! We stopped ONCE! Yes just once, for lunch. Brayden watched his movies the entire way and Bransen mostly slept. Never once did we hear a wine out of them there or home.
My cousins Ryan and Mercedes have two sons Ronan and Boston which are both a little older than our boys. The boys had a blast playing together. Ronan and Brayden spent a lot of time outside and at the pool while the little ones played inside. Bransen officially got the crawling down more instead of so much scooching!
I also have cousins that live in Georgia right on the line of Alabama which we also got to visit with for the day!
We all had a great time! It was well worth the drive to get to spend a few days relaxing and visiting with family.

New Season, New Jersey
A new NFL season has officially started and our boys are full on ready to route for the New York Jets! Brayden has upgraded to a brand new Jersey while Bransen is sporting Brayden's original one! Brayden is really getting into watching football and playing football. He's also very good at cheering on the Jets, which I'm pretty sure make Daddy and Papa very proud.

How Does This Food Make Me Look?!
There's no other word for the kind of eater Bransen is than messy! It's a struggle to feed him because he loves to wave his hands all other the place and bang his hands like a drum on his highchair tray. At the end of every feeding, this is the outcome!
And then he sometimes can get mad!Tuesday, September 4, 2012
I Get Around
Bransen definitely is making his way around the house and getting to things that he wants. He crawls when he wants to but his fastest way of transportation is scooching. I think the scooching is easier for him on the wood floors because he's quick to slip. Every once in a while he'll actually crawl but when he's on a mission to get somewhere quick you'll find him scooching! Now that he's on the move baby proofing is back in session and having to make sure I know where he is, is keeping me busier. He loves playing and going after Brayden and trying to get Brayden's toys. He's also managed to go from the laying down, crawling to sitting up position. Below is a picture of when I went into his room to get him from a nap and I found him like this!
