Saturday Night Sleepovers

Since Brayden was a few months old, my parents have started a Saturday night sleepover with him. Every Saturday night we pack up his bag with his overnight things and he's off to Papa and Grandma McDonald's. He has enjoyed it from the very start but the older he gets the more he enjoys his special time with them. My parents are always excited when Saturday night approaches, I'm not sure who gets more excited Brayden or them!

Watching cartoons with them in bed in the morning, walking to the end of the driveway to get the Sunday morning paper with Papa, Grandma's homemade breakfast, bike rides with Grandpa to the park, night time swims, ice cream trips and so much more. These are just some of the special memories they share together. I love to watch the bond between them grow. He gets so excited when he sees Papa and Grandma and always has a great time.

And here he is ready to go! We started off with a suitcase that said "Going to Grandma's" but as the clothes got bigger we moved up to a Spiderman suitcase.
