Moving on Up

Last week we decided to make the change and put Brayden into a toddler bed. We knew it was only a matter of time before he would climb out of his crib. I was quiet nervous about this change, I didn't think he would adapt well in a toddler bed because he really hates change. Well to my surprise, I was wrong! While we were taking the crib piece down and converting it to a bed Ian said there's no going back now and we didn't have to! The first night was the hardest but Ian took care of it. He laid with Brayden for about twenty minutes until he fell asleep. The next night he went right into his bedroom, laid down and went to sleep and he's been doing it ever since. I'm so proud of this first accomplishment for him. I think I was more nervous about the change than he was.
