Since Brayden was out of school for the week of Thanksgiving we were able to get together with our friends, Darla, Noah and Ethan for some fun at the Daytona Childrens Muesum! This was our second visit there and Brayden seemed to enjoy it and interact much more this time but his favorite was still the pizza making station. The boys all had fun making their way around all the exhibits, even Bransen! He was quick on his legs to make sure he was able to check it all out and not miss a thing!

Future Voter
On November 6th we voted for The President of the United States of America and I had to take the boys to the poll with me, so I thought I would make them some cute ribbons to wear "Future Voter". I couldn't get a picture with Bransen in his ribbon because he ripped it off of him as soon as I put it on!

A New Season is Underway
When Hurricane Sandy decided to rain on our first scheduled camping trip of the season, we decided to try to get into the campground soon and with my luck of trying everyday for an available spot, I got us in for the following weekend on one of our favorite sites, number 34! The weather was perfect, the boys were great and the relaxation was amazing. We spent much of Saturday taking a nature walk, hanging out at the park and relaxing by the fire. The boys as usual had a blast being outdoors, I think they were born to play outdoors!

Halloween 2012
Halloween festivities started the first week of October in this house! We were sure to cram as many fun and spooky activities into the month. We started the month of Halloween off with matching Halloween pajamas. Yup, I'm that mom that likes the boys to match every once in a while. We made sure to wear these pj's as often as we could before the month and holiday passed!
We made a few crafts! First we started by making a paper plate tissue ghost that we hung in the playroom! Brayden was very proud of his ghost and loved showing it off. We also painted with apples. This actually was a great craft for Brayden. It kept him busy for an hour or so and he loved the fact that he was using an apple rather than his fingers or a paintbrush, only problem was he wanted to paint with all different kinds of food after!
We ate ghost sandwiches all month. Anything that was made me with bread had to be in shape of a ghost and have candy eyes!
Brayden's costume this year was Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, but Spider-Man also made some appearances in our house. One day he stayed all day!
SeaWorld Spooktacular 2012! This is our third year attending and it keeps getting more fun. Minus the big crowds and the fact that Ian couldn't join us, we had a blast. We went with my friend Pam and who two little kids. We got lots of candy, went on some rides, and got a picture with Shamu! Bransen also enjoyed his first set of rides.
We attended a fall festival. Brayden loves bounce houses so he was thrilled to be able to bounce for a few hours. This was actually the first cool day we have had this year and it was great to spend it outside!
And all that leads us up to the grand finale, Trick or Treat! We decided to go trick-or-treating in my parents neighbor with my parents since Ian had to work late. We were getting a little nervous at first because we didn't see many kids out. As we started going to houses (and there were many houses that didn't hand out candy) we saw more kids and because of the lack of kids out we got handful of candy at each house. We took the boys in the wagon so Brayden would have easy access in and out. He was a pro! He would go right up to the houses, say trick or treat, take his candy, say thank you, come back to the wagon, dump the candy in the compartment under his seat because he would fill his bucket fast, sit back down, and then ask to go more! This is how it went for almost two hours. Both boys were exhausted after a fun night of trick-or-treating!

No pumpkin carving this year. We decided to make a pirate pumpkin out of Mr. Potato Head pieces. This was a hit and not messy! We'll be adding another one to our collection next year.
