After a few weeks of summer camp, school is now back in full session! I have one happy little boy that is happy to be back at school. He has a new teacher Ms. Wendy and most of his classmates from his old classroom have moved up with him! He is especially happy to have his friend, Tyler in class with him. The first week he did great, came home with all smiley faces, learned all about the letter A and did a few crafts. He also had his first Friday show and tell in which we had to place things he likes and enjoys onto an apple to hang up in the room to remind him of home! We're looking forward to all the more fun he'll be having this year and all the new things he'll be learning. It's going to be a wonderful year in the 3's!

Teddy Bear Picnic
A play date that involves Teddy, score! Although now a days Teddy seems to coming out with us fewer and fewer, we did get to bring Teddy on a picnic. Both boys brought their Teddy's to read books, do a craft and eat a snack along with some playtime on the playground. The three of us had a great time, besides the heat, we all enjoyed the morning spent together. We're looking forward to doing this once a month.

Bransen's Baptism
We waited a little longer than we did with Brayden to have Bransen baptised, but for very good reason! My Aunt Stephanie served as the Godmother and she was coming from Massachusetts so we waited for a good time for her to make the trip to Florida to be able to share in this special day with us. My brother, Keith served as the Godfather but with his busy schedule he was unable to make the trip down.
We had a great couple days visiting with my aunt. It was been a couple of years since we had last seen her and we had a blast catching up. Brayden loved her being here and for many days afterwards and every once in a while still he asks if he can see Aunt Stephanie. We spent most the time relaxing and hanging out by the pool.
Bransen's baptism was held on Sunday at a private ceremony after church service. We kept it small and intimate with just my parents and Ian's parents. There was a few little flukes at the beginning but then the baptism went smoothly. In most of the pictures below you'll see my Dad. He filled in for my brother as Godfather throughout the service.
We were so honored and happy that my Aunt made the trip down here to be able to be apart of Bransen's special day. She's always been such a special person in my life and I'm glad she will now be a special person in Bransen's.

Big Boy Haircut
I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes! We went to take Brayden for a haircut and he decided that he would sit in the chair by himself and put on a "cape"! He's never done this before, usually he sits on our lap and never puts the cape on. Way to go Brayden!
