Teddy became a member of our family Christmas of 2009. Ian's Grandma sent Teddy to Brayden for Christmas and the friendship keeps growing. Wherever Brayden is you can be sure to find Teddy close by. When Brayden wakes up in the morning, Teddy is right in his arms when I get him out of his crib. As soon as we get home, he runs to his bedroom door and has to have Teddy. He's even now beginning to say Teddy's name so when we can't find him he'll yell "Teddy, Teddy" and he's never far. Teddy doesn't leave our house. I couldn't imagine losing Teddy somewhere and not being able to find him. This morning was a first though, Teddy had to have breakfast with us and Brayden even shared some of his milk!

4:00 AM ; 5:15 AM
Yes, you may think these times are early, I do, but Brayden doesn't. The past two nights these are the times he has decided to wake up and start his day. He doesn't just wake up, talk a little and then go back to sleep. He's ready to get up and start his day. He wants to play, watch cartoons and eat breakfast all in the first fifteen minutes. Me on the other hand, is trying to make breakfast while in the process of still waking up. A whole pot of coffee is needed on a day like today. Hopefully this will not become a ritual and we will be back to sleeping later very soon!

St. Augustine, Florida
Yesterday we took a trip to St. Augustine. This isn't the first time we've been there, we've actually been quite a few times, but this was the first time with Brayden. We started off by doing a little shopping at the outlet malls. We got some great deals on some winter clothes for Brayden for next year! We stopped and had some lunch and then made our way to Downtown. It was quite windy and a little chilly. We shopped along St. George Street and then went over and checked out the fort. This was Ian's first time at the Fort. We made it just in time to see the cannons go off too. Brayden enjoyed walking around the fort and checking it all out too! It was a nice day to spend with the family doing a little sightseeing.
